Job Description

Our client is one of the leading media companies in New York City that is aiming to revolutionize the online publishing industry by incorporating emerging technologies onto their growing platform. After experiencing tremendous growth through 2017, this client is looking to kick off 2018 by adding an experienced Senior Product Manager to their team. Located in Times Square, you would be joining a 150 person company with the vibrancy of a start-up and the stability, financials and competitive edge of a larger company.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a cross-disciplinary scrum team to help millions of users to find answers, solve problems, and access information across this client's brand
  • Prioritize features, build, and maintain a product roadmap to delight customers while growing the business
  • Have full autonomy and ownership over the product development process, from idea generation to build out, including the leveraging of agile methodologies, data and human centered design approaches
  • Inform product decisions with quantitative and qualitative data derived from user behavior and experimentation (ie a/b testing, survey data, usability studies, etc)
  • Assist the Senior Director of Product in managing and developing the product management and product design talent, growing both their expertise and leadership skills

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall working experience; 4+ years of product management experience
  • Experience leading a cross-functional product development team of designers, engineers, and data scientists
  • User-centric, fast moving, and ambitious leadership qualities
  • Previous experience working with digital publishers or other B2C related media products
  • BA/BS from an accredited university
