Job Description

A global commodities trading company is in search of an excellent, mid-level C# developer to join what is considered to be one of the most coveted trade floors in all of Houston.

This developer will be directly mentored by a senior developer and the Houston-based CIO, working within a global team and reporting directly into the Head of Trading Technology based in Europe.

You will have:

  • Excellent C# development skills and strong SQL database design and implementation experience, some NoSql database (MongoDB) is certainly a delighter.
  • A background developing enterprise applications within an environment encompassing trading, energy, financial services, or other similar fields.
  • Experience or interest in working with multiple languages, such as Java, C#, Python. Knowledge of any ETRM/CTRM system is a benefit, but not a deal breaker.

What’s in it for you?

  • An exceptional employee benefits package, including 20 days PTO right off the bat, 100% full family medical coverage and 401k matching up to 6%.
  • The opportunity to work on an exceptional, global development team on front office risk and trading applications that are directly responsible for the support of the entire organization.
  • Competitive compensation package with the chance to work directly alongside the CIO of the Americas on large-scale projects. Your career trajectory is just as important for them as it is for you.

Would an opportunity of this nature appeal to you?
