Job Description
Our client is a systemically important financial institution operating in the foreign exchange marketplace. They have recently established a central PMO function within the firm and are looking to add multiple headcount to expand the scope of this newly created and strategically important team.
Responsibilities:
- Instrumental in developing and implementing the PMO's strategy and goals within the firm
- Manage the execution of PMO industry best practices in order to drive the strategic vision of PMO in its inception
- Take ownership of the firm's project management tools and support the standards for a Designated FMU
- Lead change initiatives at an individual and organizational level in the team
- Guide the identification and tracking in the RAID (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) process
Qualifications:
- 3+ years minimum in a PMO/PM/management consultant role
- Experience supporting and managing projects in a PMO capacity
- Experience working in multi-disciplined and cross functional teams, within both technology and business
- Comfortability liaising with senior management, Audit and Regulators specifically
- Project Management Certification (PMP/PMI/PRINCE2/Six Sigma) preferred
