Job Description

Our client is one of the leading media companies in New York City that is aiming to revolutionize the online publishing industry by incorporating emerging technologies onto their growing platform. After experiencing tremendous growth through 2017, this client is looking to kick off 2018 by adding an experienced Senior Product Manager to their team. Located in Times Square, you would be joining a 150 person company with the vibrancy of a start-up and the stability, financials, and competitive edge of a larger company.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a cross-disciplinary scrum team to help millions of users to find answers, solve problems, and access information across this client's brand
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and liaise with data scientists, designers, and engineers to develop and execute a robust product strategy
  • Prioritize features, build, and maintain a product roadmap to delight customers while growing the business
  • Integrate user research, market analysis, and customer feedback into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs
  • Inform product decisions with quantitative and qualitative data derived from user behavior and experimentation (ie a/b testing, survey data, usability studies, etc)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of overall working experience; 2+ years of product management experience
  • Experience leading a cross-functional product development team of designers, engineers, and data scientists
  • User-centric, fast moving, and ambitious leadership qualities
  • Previous experience working with digital publishers or other B2C related media products
  • BA/BS from an accredited university
