Job Description

My client are one of, if not the most technically advanced, science-driven Hedge Funds in the country, following the principles of technology and innovation as much as principles of investment management.

They are in search of multiple, excellent software engineers from the mid-senior level to join their Platform Team and build modern compute platforms and distributed systems that stand up to the challenges of managing massive scale over a large compute surface.

Fields like machine learning and distributed computing guide everything they do. 50% of their staff are engineers, 25% are quants and mathematical modelers and only 25% are in conventional business functions. Because of the academic and technical prowess of the people that work there (most PhDs), everyone has a voice - this is the culture to which they have always stayed true.

The office is littered with board games, computing history, 3D printers, hacker rooms, gyms (yes, plural) and areas dedicated to L&D - there is a class on a new topic every day employees can attend - this is not a Finance office, rather a tech first and tech only one (one of their engineers decided to build an AI machine to play air hockey with, simply because he had no one to play air hockey with)

Comp. wise they are very strong - they do not set specific bands and typically pay from the 75th percentile up. Oh, they also do your laundry!

Would joining a company of this caliber, working alongside fellow brilliant individuals appeal to you?

If so, please upload your resume below and reach out to William Duson of Twenty Recruitment for more information.
